A creature that gives your chat a reason to come back every stream

LiveGotchi is a pixel creature that lives on the OBS overlay of your Twitch stream, and your chat makes it grow. It only lives and evolves while you are live: every message, follow, subscription or raid feeds it, and your community comes back to watch it reach its next stage.

Free sign-up. LiveGotchi is in closed beta: access opens in waves.

Chat engagement

Why your chat gets involved

The chat acts instead of just watching

Chat messages feed the creature. Once Twitch is linked, follows, subscriptions, bits, raids and the hype train count too. Every viewer sees what their action changes on screen.

It only grows while you are live

Off stream, the creature sleeps and does not age. Its evolutions depend on what your streams bring it: to see what comes next, viewers have to be there for the next stream.

Moments worth clipping

A hatching, an evolution, a battle in the arena: these moments happen live, in front of your community, and they get shared.

Setup

Add LiveGotchi to your stream in four steps

  1. Create your account

Sign-up is free. The beta is closed: your account is ready, and access opens in waves.

  2. Choose an egg

In the Incubator, every egg is drawn by a creator: its look, its evolutions, its powers. Hatch it in the Nursery.

  3. Add it to OBS

The LiveGotchi OBS script adds the overlay's browser source at the right size. You then arrange the scene by drag and drop on the Stream page.

  4. Link Twitch, if you want

With a six-letter code, the creature also hears follows, subscriptions and raids. No password ever goes through LiveGotchi.

Questions

Streamers' questions

How does LiveGotchi make my chat want to come back?

The creature only evolves during your streams, and what the chat does today decides what it will become. Viewers come back to see what happens next: the next evolution, the next battle, or to keep it from fading away.

Is it free?

Creating an account is free. Some eggs and decorations are free, others are bought with credits. Credits are available in the shop.

Do I need to link Twitch?

No. Without linking, the creature already hears chat messages. Linked to Twitch with a six-letter code, it also hears follows, subscriptions, bits, raids and the hype train.

What happens when I am not live?

It sleeps. Off stream, it does not age, and time off stream does not count toward its evolutions.

Can the creature die?

Yes, only during a stream: of old age, or if its health stays at zero for too long. Off stream, it sleeps. In the arena and in tournaments, never. Only a battle to the death, accepted by both players, can put it out; the copy stays in the collection and starts again from its egg.

Your chat deserves a creature.

Create your account, choose an egg in the Incubator, and go live.
